Update: Watch Our Attempt at 100 Miles on Skateboards

Our goal is to raise an additional $50,000 more to build a Phase One of the Downingtown Skatepark. This is our attempt to entertain you during our final push to raise this money. Check out our videos and news below these slides to see the timeline progress of this project. We do have the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) approval to build at our proposed location, so now all we need is your support to break ground in Spring 2013.

We are thrilled that this project has come this far along and hopefully we can get the final push we need. This fundraiser will end Jan. 1 2013!

It’s been super difficult to get our project along this far and I’d like to give a high-five to everyone who has gotten us this far. All of the fantastic staff at the Borough of Downingtown and all of residents that spend their time volunteering for each Commission and Board in the Borough are really responsible getting this project so close to completion.

Last November’s event was so much fun we decided to do it again! Tuesday, November 15, at 6 p.m. Station Taproom will be hosting the fundraising event “Pints for the Park – Part Deux” with co-sponsor Artisan Homebrew. Station Taproom will be open for business as usual, but you will also be able to sample some free Artisan Homebrew at this event. We encourage you to make a donation to the park every time you fill your mug with some homebrew, but this is totally optional.
