Who We Are

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is comprised of an all-volunteer board/staff. Many of us have spent years in the action sports community and understand the value of learning to create your own goals and objectives through participation in action sports.

How will we do it?

DSP is working with the Borough of Downingtown’s Council, Planning Commission and Main Street Organization to find a place for the park that is centrally located in the Borough. Our funding will continue to come through donations, sponsorships and grants.

Why Should you support us?

Since we are an all-volunteer organization you know that your donation will either go directly to the park or to supporting more events. In our Bylaws it is stated that if we ever dissolve all of the funds raised will be given to the Borough’s Recreation Department. So you know your donations will go to supporting keeping people active in our area even if a skatepark is never built.
